The Office of Research is the hub for all sponsored activity in the College of Business.
The office provides customized assistance to faculty in all facets of sponsored programs, from proposal seeking to writing, submission, negotiation, approvals, processing, funding and payment.
Given the complexity of the coordination of grant proposals and awards and the uniqueness of awards in the field of business, this office should be the COB faculty member’s first stop for proposal initiation and/or inquiries.
We work closely with other departments such as the Office of Grants, Contracts and Industrial Agreements, (formerly OSP), the Office of Development, the Space Utilization Office and the Office of the Associate Vice President for Administration, among others and as such will assist you the best way possible.
In addition to centralizing all sponsored activity, this office also assists with contract drafting and the contract approval process.
ALL CONTRACTS AND PROPOSALS MUST BE REVIEWED BY THIS OFFICE BEFORE SUBMISSION TO THE DEAN.
IN ADDITION, THE DEAN’S APPROVAL IS REQUIRED FOR ANY PROPOSAL SUBMISSION BEYOND THE COLLEGE.
