FACT Exam Dates
All students taking FIN 3023, Intermediate Corporate Finance, must take and pass the FACT (Finance Assessment of Competency Test) to remain registered in the class. For the Fall 2010 semester, you must pass the FACT test by September 10, 2010 in order to remain registered in the class. Please note that the final FACT testing date for the Fall semester is Tuesday, September 7, 2010.
The Department of Finance is working with Academic Technology and Testing Services to provide resources and information to you regarding the new FACT (Finance Assessment of Competency Test) requirement for FIN 3023. Detailed information to prepare you to take the FACT test is now available to you on Blackboard.
Testing Services will have FACT registration set up on ASAP early next week. You may take the exam up to three times in a single semester. There is a $15 fee assessed by Testing Services each time you take the exam. Testing Services is working on setting up capability to automatically charge the fee directly to your UTSA account, however, until that time you will need to bring a check or money order for $15 to the test session.
Here are the test dates and times. Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled test time, bring a valid, photo ID and check or money order for $ 15 to the test session.
