Kimberly Massaro holds a M.S. in statistics from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a B.S. in mathematics with emphasis in mathematical finance and insurance from the University of Missouri: Columbia. She has taught courses in Basic Statistics, Probability and Statistics for Biosciences and Business Statistics with Computer Applications at UTSA since 2009.
Kimberly Massaro also works with UTSA’s Qualitative Literacy Program (QLP). She assists faculty with integrating quantitative literacy into their current core course. She has also worked with UTSA’s Statistical Consulting Center (SCC) from January 2010 to August 2011. She provided statistical expertise to UTSA faculty and students as well as organizations in the community.
Honored for her teaching, Kimberly Massaro won the President'’s Distinguished Achievement Award for Core Curriculum Teaching (Non-tenure Track) in 2012. This award recognizes distinguished performance in teaching core curriculum courses.
