Mr. Reynolds holds a B.A. from Louisiana State University and an MBA with honors from Golden Gate University. He has been teaching marketing courses at UTSA since 2002.
Prior to joining UTSA, Mr. Reynolds taught management marketing courses at colleges and universities in the states of California, Florida, and Texas.
In addition to teaching university classes, Mr. Reynolds has extensive management and marketing experience in the private and public sectors. He is a retired Air Force colonel; a retired Federal Civil Service mid-level manager; has worked as a production supervisor at Texas Instruments, Inc.; human relations specialist; retail furniture salesperson for Rhodes Furniture in Atlanta, GA.; marketing manager at Reynolds Chiropractic and Acupuncture Clinic in San Antonio; real estate salesperson and broker in the state of Florida; and is a licensed Texas real estate salesperson.
Mr. Reynolds has 15 years of expertise in real estate marketing and 11 years in real estate education.
He is a lifetime member of the Texas Real Estate Teachers Association and is a recipient of its prestigious “Certified Real Estate Instructor” designation. He teaches the following real estate salesperson pre-license courses (214 classroom hours) for the Work Force and Continuing Education Department at San Antonio College: Principles of Real Estate, Real Estate Contracts, Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Math, and Real Estate Law of Agency. The Texas Real Estate Commission requires applicants to satisfactorily complete these courses prior to taking the state examination.
Mr. Reynolds assisted in the development of and has taught several classes of a Property Management Course for San Antonio Youth Opportunities. It was a basic introductory course designed to provide a novice for entry into the field of real estate management. The focus of the course was the on-site management of multifamily rental property.
Mr. Reynolds is a reviewer of real estate text books published by Dearborn Real Estate Education.
