Is financial aid available for the Executive MBA program?
If you are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, you will likely be eligible for federal student loans. You can read about, and apply, for most loans through the UTSA’s Office of Financial Aid and Enrollment Services. To determine your eligibility for federal student loans you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Under the federal loan categories, there are Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans as well as the Graduate PLUS Loan. Graduate students may borrow a maximum of $20,500 in Federal Direct Unsubsidized loans per year. Upon credit check approval, you may be eligible to borrow the federal Graduate PLUS Loan to cover the remaining costs within your cost of attendance/budget (minus other loans and financial aid). Please contact our Financial Aid Office firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information.
Is the application process different if I received my degree from a foreign country?
If you hold a Green Card, you are considered a permanent resident. Your foreign transcripts must be evaluated by a Foreign Credentials Service. The TOEFL is not required. If you are in the U.S. on a visa, you are considered an International Student. UTSA will evaluate your foreign transcripts; however they must be translated into English. You must take the TOEFL if your degree is from a non-English speaking county. Information about the TOEFL can be found at www.toefl.org.
