Executive MBA
Emphasis on personal leadership development is a unique aspect of the EMBA. Organizational change is catalyzed by personal change. The courage to accept responsibility to lead in times of change is a deeply personal challenge. The leadership theme is built on foundation competencies, strengthened by applications in organizational transitions and energized by personal inquiries reflecting on the courage to learn and grow. Participants learn how to effectively engage in and lead dialogues to facilitate organizational learning.

A strong foundation is the core of effective leadership. TheĀ EMBA helps participants build a solid foundation in business knowledge and develop the technical skills necessary to function strategically in rapidly changing environments.

Organizational transitions will continue to pose great challenges for leaders in the 21st century. The program examines the ways in which the forces of globalization and the impact of emerging technologies challenge organizations to develop more effective systems, structures and working relationships. It explores cutting-edge approaches to large-scale change based on a new understanding of organizational dynamics. In addition, an international seminar provides cross-cultural perspectives to enhance the learning experience.

Education involves more than learning facts and theory and developing skills. Effective education helps students translate knowledge into action. The EMBA builds on personal leadership as its integrating theme, which is supported throughout the EMBA in creative leadership programs and roundtables. These roundtables encourage dialogue with experts in the practical application of knowledge addressed in the classroom and provide a platform from which to explore questions and challenges related to personal responsibility for leadership.
