Quantitative methods for analysis are the keystone to the Department of Management Science and Statistics. With degree programs in actuarial science, management science and statistics the department offers degrees that count. The discipline supports and supplements decision-making abilities by using computers, mathematics and statistics to analyze, understand, visualize and interpret data. More »	Statistical Consulting Center Established The Department of Management Science and Statistics has established a Statistical Consulting Center in the College of Business to provide statistical services to UTSA faculty, staff and students, as well as researchers in the community. The center is staffed by doctoral students in the college's new Ph.D. in Applied Statistics degree program. Faculty in the department provide additional expertise as needed.
