Entrepreneur Bill Morrow to Present UTSA College of Business Frost Distinguished Lecture April 18

Bill MorrowBill Morrow, chairman of CSIdentity Corporation, will present the keynote address during The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Business Frost Distinguished Lecture. The lecture begins at 11 a.m. Monday, April 18 in the Richard S. Liu Auditorium (2.01.02) in the Business Building on the UTSA Main Campus. The event is free and open to the public.

A native of Brownsville, Morrow has over 20 years experience in leading and building businesses. An entrepreneur, Morrow co-founded CsIdentity Corporation, an Austin-based business, in 2006. CSIdentity is the industry leader in identity theft protection, voice biometrics, ID verification and data breach management.

Under his leadership, CSIdentity provides cutting-edge technology, products and services to Fortune 500 companies, governmental entities and small businesses. CSIdentity protects more than 2 million members through its retail and wholesale channels.

With his expertise in building companies and his background in technology, Morrow was appointed by Gov. Rick Perry to serve on the advisory committee for the Texas Emerging Technology Fund in 2005. In 2007, he was appointed chairman of the $220 million fund and served three terms on the board.

Morrow received his bachelor's degree in marketing from UTSA. He is a member of the UTSA Development Board and the College of Business Advisory Council. He received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2010 for Central Texas. He has also been named the UTSA Alumnus of the Year in 2002.

The Frost Distinguished Lecture Series brings prominent business and community leaders to UTSA to share their knowledge and experiences with students and others in the university and business community. The lecture series, which began in 1988, presents a forum for business leaders and academics to share their experiences in business so that students can broaden their understanding of the business world and the individuals who lead it.

Nationally ranked and recognized, the UTSA College of Business is accredited by AACSB International, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
