Accounting Golf Tournament Raises $30,000 for Student Scholarships

More than $30,000 was raised for student scholarships at the UTSA Department of Accounting annual Scholarship Golf Tournament on May 20. The tournament, in its 19th year, is held annually to benefit the Kathleen Reymann Keil Memorial Scholarship.
Eighty golfers participated in the tournament which was held at Silverhorn Golf Course. First place was awarded to the Stephanie Davis Team; the Clear Channel Communications and Slattery|Perkins Team finished second; and the ATKG and Frost Team placed third.
Individual award recipients were Andrew Nichols, Closest to the Pin; Monica Silva, Closest to the Pin; Mike Roberson, Longest Drive; and Cynthia Baldwin, Longest Drive.
Accounting Advisory Board members Nancy Ozuna, ’93MPA’95, and Amber Rudolph,’95, volunteered at the tournament. Student members of Beta Alpha Psi also volunteered during the event and assisted with tournament logistics.
