Jeffrey Citrin to Present Keynote Address
Jeffrey Citrin, chief executive officer and managing principal of Square Mile Capital Management LLC, will present the keynote address at a luncheon hosted by the UTSA College of Business Real Estate Finance and Development Founders Council on Wednesday, October 17. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. in the University Center Denman Room 2.01.28.
Citrin will discuss "Purchase of Troubled Debt and Mezzanine Financing." The company has raised approximately $1.6 billion in discretionary equity capital. The USAA Real Estate Company purchased a major interest in Square Mile in early 2012 to better access discounted debt and other opportunistic investments.
Previously Citrin served as president of Blackacre Capital Management LLC, the dedicated real estate arm of global investment firm Cerberus Capital Management LP. Citrin has a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth and a law degree from Columbia University School of Law.
The cost is $30. RSVP's are needed by Oct. 10. For more information and to RSVP for the luncheon and meeting, contact Laura Gilliland at (210) 458-7333.
