New BBA in Sport, Event and Tourism Management Launches this Fall

With the launch of UTSA’s inaugural football team this fall, the College of Business has created a new bachelor of business administration degree in sport, event and tourism management that should appeal to fans as well.

College Seeks Support for New Executive Leadership Suite

Dramatic transformations have occurred within the Business Building due to the generous support of College of Business donors. The newest renovation planned for the College of Business is the creation of the Executive Leadership Suite, a new multipurpose suite on the first floor to be used for on-campus interviews, seminar rooms and EMBA group study space.

Security Students Receive Over $100,000 in Scholarships from the Department of Defense

Five students majoring in information assurance were awarded $114,000 in scholarships from the Department of Defense (DOD) Information Assurance Scholarship Program.

Accounting Students Participate in Community Service Project

More than 30 UTSA accounting students volunteered at the annual Funlympics hosted last weekend by the San Antonio CPA Society. The event, which was held at the St. Peter-St. Joseph Children's Home, included food, games and a school supply distribution.
