|Knowledge Forum Breakfast May 25 to Address "The Future of Health Care"
"The Future of Health Care" will be the topic for the UTSA College of Business Knowledge Forum breakfast on May 25. The breakfast will begin at 8 a.m. with the program following at 8:30 a.m. in the Business Building University Room (2.06.04) on the UTSA Main Campus.
Panelists will be Thora Jackson, Texas Medical Group Management Association; Bruce Mitchell, Oppenheimer Blend Harrison and Tate Inc.; Armando Polanco, Texas Benefit; and William Rascoe, retired health care executive.

The UTSA College of Business offers an MBA concentration in the business of health focused on the financial and managerial aspects of health care management. |Ramos Named Director of Student Services in Center for Student Professional Development
The Center for Student Professional Development in the UTSA College of Business has named Julio J. Ramos as the new Director of Student Services.
He comes to the College of Business having previously served as the Assistant Director for UTSA Orientation and Family Programs since 2006.
Julio will be responsible for the center's H-E-B Career Action Program and the Business Scholars Program. He will also advise the Business Student Council and develop new student leadership programming.
Originally from Del Rio, TX, Julio received his BBA in management from UTSA and MBA in marketing from Our Lady of the Lake University.
College's Briefcase Brigade Wins First Place in the Battle of Flowers Parade
The brigade also participated in the King William parade and received honorable mention as a first-time entry.
College Faculty and Staff Honored
Highlighting the strategic importance of international issues, the college awarded the Dean’s Excellence Award for Advancing Globalization to Dr. Hamid Beladi, professor of economics and IBC Bank Senior Faculty Fellow.
Three College of Business staff members were also recognized for their outstanding leadership and service.
Peter Morales, assistant director of graduate business career services, was the recipient of the Dean’s Excellence Award for Community Service and Outreach.
